Whats up folks. I was just curious as to what fuel you guys are running in the HPI 4.6 and 5.9 engines? I'm running Nitrothane 30% in my 4.6, my local hobby shop recommened it. I get lots of power with a cool engine. Just want to know if there is something better.

i bought a second hand savage x and he was running blue thunder 20%.....i have a hard time with the tuning so i will finish whats left in the jug and go back to Byrons 20% my other trucks run cool and are easy to tune on it.......i would recommend it.......but you will get 40 different opinions out of 50 posts......

Do you get a good tune on it....it may just be me....it seems like it burns good and when i do get a good tune it runs great on it.

I get a good tune, it tunes in easy as a matter of fact. My engine seems to love this stuff.

I'm gonna try it in the 3.3 in my t-maxx.......i like the Byron's race blend pretty good too.

I currently run Traxxas 20% and I've had no problems peformance wise but it does make a mess. I'm Looking to run Byrons RACE RTR20 Gen2 next year because I've always ran Byrons in the past but could not find 20%. Now my LHS carries it.

I use Byron's 30% with 11% oil in my 3.3 engine's and they tune easy and run great. I ran odonnell's for years but my LHS went up on the price so I switched to Byron's and IMHO it is way better. My engine's run cooler and better.

I use Byron's too, and nitro content isn't everything.

Once you've switched from 16% oil content to 12% or 11% you'll never go back. It's a night and day difference, and that's with the same nitro content.
