I was wondering if its alright to run different brand fuel thru your car as long as its the same percent nitro?

Someone told me to wash out the tank with water.do I need to do this or can I just put the fuel in and be good to go?

If you feel the need to rinse out the tank, use a small amount of the new fuel and dump it out when you're done.

Is it alright if I dont?or should I do it?is it alright to use multiple different kinds.I have a pint I think it is of traxxas 20% then I have a 1/2 gallon of Byron originals 20% and I was running sidewinder 20% thru it

NO! Do not put water in your fuel tank. Yes, you can switch from one brand to another of equal nitro percentages with no problems, but you most likely will need to re-tune.

Thanks for all the help everyone.I don't quite know how to tune my car.I'm new to rc.so do you think it will make that big of a difference if i dont re tune?its not like I race or anything just drive for fun

You'll be able to tell the difference. Do yourself a favor and give the traxxas fuel to a friend. When I switched from Traxxas to Sidewinder, I had to retune due to the oil differences. There is some good tuning charts and references on this site. I came across 2 good videos on you tube that show you how to get "the ear" for tuning faster. I had a hard time deciphering some of the terms.
