Where can i get a gallon of either one of these fuels online, Fantom performance blend OR O'Donnel R2R. All i can find are Quarts and their more expensive in the long run. Appricieate the help if any one responds.

Are you talking about a LHS purchase, or mail order?
Many places will not stock or ship gallons due to an additional Hazmat fee (Hazardous Material) that's about $30. There's no fee on quarts. If it's one gallon, or a dozen, it's a $30 fee.

I thought I was the only one that knew that.

O didnt know that well ill see if my lhs can get me either of these fuels. The only hobby shop in town here is a tobby town usa do you think they would order it if i asked them? Ill look into that. I wondered if there would be more shiping cost if i bought it online. thanks.

Cuz they are the recomended ones for the engine I'm getting. i have to use those fuels if i want the warranty to be valid.

I've run both the fantom race blend and the odonnel R2R blend, if you warrenty is still good with it, go for the fantom race blend. otherwise stick with the odonnel R2R. your LHS should be able to order either for you, at no extra charge. i actually get a discount when i special order fuel. you just have to wait to get it until they place thier regular fuel order. then its just added into thier shipment. but when you do this, you have to buy a case of 4 gallons, since thats how they have to order it. they dont want to be stuck with 3 gallons of the stuff and have nobody else want to try it.

btw, what engine are you getting that specifies that fuel? i can only guess a fantom engine.

you guessed it a fantom.18 for my maxx thanks for the info. great help

Warranties are fine but how can they determine what fuel you're using anyway? Most companies won't replace an engine once fuel has seen the carb. They'll just fix what's broken and charge you regardless. Most of the time they'll say it's user error (ran too lean, improper break-in ...) Just use a good quality fuel. I use Byron's 20% but have also used Trinity Monster HP 20%. That's a good fuel as well.

Iv herd of people sending their FR18's in for problems and not having to pay a thing for the fix done. A lot of ppl say they have great customer suppoart, dont really want to take the chance cuz i already didnt use the right fuel once. IDK
