fuel prop

i have an rex x buggy and it will blow threw a full tank on a little 5 min bash?
its also not getting to full speed. dont now if it has anythink to do with the fuel proplem.
anyone help me out. i am new to nitro cars:\. so keep it simple thanks

Might be running too rich? Have you tuned the engine?

havent done anythink to it mate got it out of box and played for a bit and today its died. also just noticed whilst pulling it up to start it sounded like a poping noies coming for exhaust.

Rock it to the front of the exhaust, then tip it towards the exhaust hole, and see if anything comes out. It sounds to me like you started playing with it before breaking it in. Stock tunes are going to be rich, and if you are trying to start it and nothing is happening, it could be flooded and filling the exhaust with fuel. Once you get it started again, you should break it in by either the heat cycle method, or whatever method your manual recommends, then tune it. Your run time will increase and you'll see alot more power.
