fuel line?

does it matter what size of fuel tubing you use? I just purchased some new hose for my buggy for between the pipe and gas tank i noticed afterwards that it was smaller in diameter than the line that came on the car. It also broke off where it goes on to the pipe fitting like it got hot and brittle so i was wondering if it was to small in diameter?

Inside or outside diameter? I just came across a length of tubing that was the same outside but 1/2 the inside as my stock tubing. It's on the car as a pressure line now and I didn't notice anything different when I ran it today.
As far as yours breaking so quickly, did you make sure it's for nitro and not for gas? They are not compatible.

the inner lenght may not be the same because it was stretched over the thingie on the carb and the fuel tank and it stretched after a while and also all the heat that it goes through.

you may have line for gas...also the size should be ok i see no problems as long as its not like way diffrent i beleive it should be 3/16

I purchased it from the local hbs so i think its for nitro but the inside looks smaller than the stockone that i still am running between the carb and tank. Would smaller hose affect performance?

I still don't know if you're talking inside or outside being smaller. If the outside is smaller, that might be the reason it ripped. If the outside is about the same but it's a smaller ID (inside diameter) it won't be a problem, and is stronger than stock.

I went to the local hobby store last night and looked at all of his fuel tubing he had large and medium tubing made by dubro. I boght the medium it said the inside was 3/32 the large tubing looked to big. Just wondering is the size i want
