I'm looking for TRANSLUCENT RED fuel line. I can't find it anywhere...I've found red thats NOT translucent, green, orange, purple, white, gold, blue..etc..etc..etc..

Id like a roll of 25 ft or so.

Anyone know who has this stuff? Tower has red, but not what I'm loooking for.

u could buy some clear fuel tubing and try dyeing it red using RIT dye, but not for very long. i have never seen fuel tubing that is a see thru red color. one down side of the dyeing of the fuel tubing, it might come off with the fuel and turn ur engine red, but I'm not sure. check with someone on that. or maby u could plug each end of the fuel tubing so the dye didnt get on the inside of the tubing....

The silicone tubing at your LHS is the only tubing that will hold up to nitro fuel. Any tubing I've seen that's clear or see-through color will not take nitro or heat.
I have the silicone in blue, pink, dayglow yellow and dayglow orange, but it's all sort of foggy, not clear.

Dynamite sells a neon pink that is almost red and a regular red. I was given some of the neon pink and it's more red.

You can get some clear fuel tubing & run the Sidewinder Backyard Basher Nitro. The fuel is red & w/ the clear tubing it would be translucent. The only down side is that my engines ran like crap w/ that stuff.

Later....

That's the foggy pink I referred to.
The small or medium? I'm not sure. My neon yellow is small OD, good for pressure line into a tuned pipe with out a nipple.
The blue is a larger ID than the pink. They are made by different companies.
It's one of those things that you have to look at in the store just to be sure what you are getting, unless you know the exact ID and OD numbers you need.

Cool, i called horizon..their response was the small and medium have the same diameter hole...its just a difference in the thickness of the wall of tubing.

maxx....are you using 4" zips to secure the line?

not sure how long they are, but they are short and thin. they are about the same size zip-ties that come with C-Vec exhaust coupler and the ones that come with the Motor Saver air filters. they are right around 4".

I just noticed that SpeedTech has transparent red fuel tubing. You should probably find a few other things you want to buy from them, however, because they charge $6.99 for shipping as a flat rate.
