I just installed a fuel filter 2 my Maxx i dont have the 2.5 so where the EZ-Start was that is were i bolted it. the line from the filter 2 the engine is fine but the line from the fuel tank 2 the filter wont stay on the fuel tank. Does anybody no how i can fix this problem w/out buying new fuel lines???

The first section of full linethat connects the fuel tank 2 filter is thick and the second that runs from the filter 2 the Carb. is small . Will this mess up and thing ???

P.S. It is a OFNA Fuel Filter/Primer

Cut a small (very small, maybe 1/4" long) piece of fuel tubing (either from some left over, from the original lines, or even from the new lines.......1/4" shouldnt make a big difference).

Stretch this small piece out (I like to use needle nose pliers) and then push it over the end of the fuel line that connects to the tank itself. The action of it confirming back to its original diameter will push on the outside of the fuel line to the tank, and it acts as a (very cheap and easy!!) clamp. Plus you dont risk puncturing lines with it, because after all its just a piece of tubing.

While you're at it, and if you have enough, do it to all of your other fuel connections as well.

1/4" wide wire tie. Works great and you can get a pack of 10,000 from KAR Products for $15.

I would stick with the first post. Make a small rubber band cutting 1/8th inch off the end of the fuel tube and slipping it back over the end.

The zip tie will work but I have found given time that it cuts the fuel line and causes air leaks.

Thankz chrisexv6, that works great..............i would have never thought of that. It works great

You can see it on the top fuel line on my Crber-Maxx
