Just curious, does the length of the fuel line and pressure line matter? If so, what should it be?

I dont know if it matters but i recently shortend my intake line to as short as possible..
And if you have seen them on a Revo they are long...

It made a difference to my idle and my low tank lean problem...
Ill now be keeping it short for a few weeks then put the long one back on just to confirm it was the line that made a difference...

I beleive it was cause i didnt change ANYthing else...

Pressusre line on a Revo is short as it can be allready.. I've heard not to change that

i did the same ...i red that on another forum ( was for a savage ) ...but i tried it on my revo ( shortest line possible ) and it seemed to be easier to tune ..but i didnt get the chance to realy test it out ...my rx batt died on me and the truck went full speed in 3 feet long grass (thank god for long grass ..lol..) ..but it did seem to work better ;) ...more stable tune

So you still havent got your failsafe workin properly then...??

i got it yesterday ...i ordered it after the long grass incident ;) ...but it doesn't seem to work for signal loss ...but it does put the breaks on when battery is low ....thats the most important to me ...if i loose signal , the 2.4ghz system puts it back to neutral .( good enough for me )

I know on all my HPI R/Cs they show fuel line length right in the manual, so it certainly does effect tune I would say. I know some people like a long fuel line (tank to carb) so if they flip on their lid it'll stay running until they can get to the truck.

I experimented with a one-way valve on my Savage years ago and it didn't help. I know a lot of people mess with tank location, do header tanks, etc. to get them to run better after half tank...
