My picco .26 is leaking nitro form the carb and dont think this is good thing to have. Good or bad? How do i seal the engine?(been wanting to)

Heres a knowledgeable guy when dealing with rc's. Where from the carb is it leaking? Havent encountered that problem yet.

the oring on my carb throat is a very tight seal...i was goin through sealing things and when i got to the carb i decided to leave it be simply because the oring made such a tight seal i don't thing rtv could produce any better of a seal than whats already there....i would imagine yours should have a similar oring although i haven't ever had any experience with the motor you have...i know on the 3.3's i have had in the past they also had an oring there but it wasn't even close to as tight as the one on my 0s.21tm i have now...

i beg to differ about rtv,if u have any kind of small void or imperfection in any gasketed surface rtv will seal them all,an o ring with tiny cracks in it u wouldnt notice unless you stretched it a lil bit,

i see your point and i agree....i didn't think about the oring cracking but i still don't think that would be an issue untill a little later in the life of the motor...the orings would eventually dry out and crack for sure but i think it would take a while...that being said ill probably go back and seal it up next time I'm doin anything to it
