i just got a tower terror did the break-in. when we got ready to run it we had a bad flooding issue. finally got it to run, but now there is fuel leaking out around the glow plug. i'm afraid to tighten it any more. i'm going to get another plug today. is this a common promblem? so far i'm not impressed w/ the truck. thanks

yes, we have the copper like washer on it. it runs (when it wants to) just leaks fuel and blow bubbles around the plug.

that doesn't sound to good.maybe someone with a little more experience will be able to help you a little more.

Is it tightened down all the way? Sometimes gaps can be there when it's not in all the way and fuel gets out.

I would pull the head off and clean the button off make sure there's no debris on it.Then get a new washer and try it again....Also u sure its not a turbo head I'm not familiar with the motor.

that would probably do it. a turbo head with a regular GP. That happened to me once. I tightened down the glow plug all the way and it was good again.

well, the motor is all stock, haven't even ran 6 tanks though it yet. i just bought a new plug, will try it tonight. thanks

maybe go on the site and see wht the recomended gp is. don't know if your particular model has a site but I would give it a try.
