All it takes it a little piece of dirt or debris to enter our engines and it could be ruined. Very much worth spending the $4-5.

I used to use the Kyosho large filters in my nitro days. In addition to the clunk in the fuel tank on my gassers, I also use an in-line Crap Trap filter.
