I have tge ofna stone filter/fuel pump. An i was wondering can fuel filters casue air leaks ??? casue that is all i been hearing since i got.

Are you talking about the in tank, or in line filter? I don't see how an in tank could cause an air leak, but I supose an in line could. After all it has a seal, and two ends the fuel line connects to that potentially could leak, but I don't think this is a common problem to worry about. I have one, or both in all of my vehicles, and have never had any problems with air leak from them. Just my $0.02

yep i threw mine in the trash i was running so lean with that set up and it was brand new

it is in-line when i get a chance I'm goin 2 take it off

I would suggest getting an inline filter that does not have the pump. Pumps always seem to develop leaks. Also, since no thread lock is used on the filter threads, you should check it from time to time to make sure the halves do not start coming unscrewed.

i have a small blue 1 that can unscrew into 2 halves and there is a smal little screen inside.I'm not sure who makes it. Is that theey kind u are talkin' bout ¿?¿?¿?

There are many different types and sizes. That sounds like one of them.

Its probably Du-Bro. That is what I have, and I have never had a problem. Alot of people like the Kyosho ones, because they are big in diameter, and hold extra fuel for the races. I've even heard of people putting two of them on there car.
