I have finally gotten my savage to start and run. Now I am in the process of getting the needles where they need to be. I have fuel coming out of my muffler and it seems as though when I start closing the HSN it gets to be less and less but then it gets to the point where is starves for fuel as the rpm's increase.
I have tried tweaking the LSN but every time I do that it throws the Idle adjustment off and then when i start to tweak the Idle it either dies or starts to take off like a bat out of hell.

How do I find a happy medium? I am following the manual but it doesn't seem to be helping.

Thanks

Ok adjusting the HSN and LSN is like turning the water on from the wall. The LSN is like an adjustable nozzle at the end of a hose. The HSN controls how much fuel going into the carb and the LSN affects the fuel coming from the HSN. As far as the IDLE set screw, the LSN will in turn affect the idle so changing the LSN may require a tune on the Idle set screw.

Hope that helps.

if it during break in yes you will see fuel out of the muffler since the settings should be set rich on the needles. . Even after break in you should see some .

lol...how could someone make a joke out of that? good job pilot. lol.

Very easy but Retard beat me to it.

Ok I cleaned up this thread. Please let us know what happens.

Just remember, not all of that liquid coming out is fuel. It's also the oil used to lubricate the engine that's present inthe fuel.
