Does anyone know of a free site that can hold over 50 megs? I have a demo video for my company that I would like to upload (78 megs). I wish I could resize it but the clarity can't be compromised since the details in the quality of workmanship is the major selling point.

I figured as much. looks like I gotta pay for that much space.

Decent hosting is fairly inexpensive these days. Try mesopia.com They hae a nice deal for around $5/month on a Linux box. 50-78 megs is gonna eat up some BW depending on the targeted audience though.

Thanks error, that site came up o my search. The target I am looking at are mostly customers. This type of file is not for the "oh what's this movie" crowd and of course it's not modem friendly. Even cable modem's avg speed takes 26 minutes. That's how long it took me when getting it from my cousins "online hd" he pays for.

What was the D/L speed? That seems kind of slow to me. I use mesopia for hosting and their nix servers are real fast (average 300K/sec d/l).

The reason I asked about the target audience is not really about d/l speed, but bandwidth. One of my vids is 26Mb and is listed on 3 sites. On average that file gets so many hits (about 5000 hits last month) that it eats up around 25-30 Gb of bandwidth per month. I don't know how many customers will be accessing your vid, but you might plan on working around bandwidth more than filespace.

If you are looking for a host service, I would recommend mesopia. Fast servers, good customer service and very high uptime.
