hey guys, i just picked up a ft ntc3 on ebay. brand new not even finished being put together yet. anyway, the only other onroad car i have is a super nitro with way too much money into it. i got tired of dumping money into it, to turn it into the racer it will never be. i mostly play with a group of guys in a parking lot on weekends, and they are all switching over to 235mm cars like the NEO and Maddog. (we all used to run supers) i wanted something i could take to an actual racing venue and have a class for instead.

so does anyone have a decent starting place for a foam tire setup for this car?

AE has some setups on their website from some of the team drivers at different events, but they are kinda old. What type of track are you running on (surface). On mine I tend to run alot of camber but I've read usually with foams people run more. Get ya a copy of the XXX Main Touring Car Setup guide or the one that AE puts out.

i run on unprepared asphalt. ill have a look on AE's website, thanks.

well the car got here today, i can't belive i didnt just buy a "racing" chassis earlier. I've put over 2x what i paid for this, into my super nitro RS4. that car, is nice and stable, but still no racer like this one is.

The back of the manual has a "general setup" for foams. It's a good starting point and generally works on unprepared, loose surfaces.

thanks diver, just found that. on the very last page. looks like ill need to pick up some oils and springs for that setup.
