Sure, but not certain how you would calibrate it with the optics to make sure the dot is what yyou are reading for temp.

I've got the RadioShack unit and it works great. I've compared it to the Ofna, the tempgun.com unit, and the Raytek gun. The RS and Raytek were off by about .5° and compared to the others the difference was like 1-2°.
I've had the RS for about a year now and it's been really reliable, even after a few drops. Still on battery #1!

The RS and the RayTek should produce identical results or close to it. They are the same board internally.

hey christian remember you wanted to trade my venom temp gauges both working but one you can see half the the numbers (horizontal) the other working in perfect condition for your rs temp gun. do you still want to? i am willing too. so pm me and let me know whats up.
