I no longer need these shocks. They are Integy MSR4 threaded piggybacks with a complete set of progressive springs....silver, blue, red, purple, green. the only ones I ever used were the silver and red, the other springs are still in package. You will also get a new pair of 3.5mm shock shafts for spares and a complete set of pistons. I will also throw in front and rear upper arms. These were great shocks on my Savage and when I used extra hard springs, I only needed one shock per wheel. I bought these in June 04 for $129 plus the extra springs for $70 and the spare shafts for $5. They were never used for hard bashing, just used on park fields. I am selling the complete set for $110 shipped.

By the way, these are MSR4 version 2 with the thicker 3.5mm shafts.

Seems to me the problem is that you can buy these shocks all day long for $110. at the LHS, and cheaper on Ebay. The spring sets are also sold in a package of 24 (3 sets) for $23.00 new. Not trying to cause some extensive :argue: here, just my :2cents:

well here is my :2cents:

$110 + $23 = $133 + tax at your LHS........and that still doesn't include a spare new set of 3.5mm shafts which would run you again $5 at your LHS.
To me so far that is about $138 + tax at your LHS.

By the way, the photo shows 5 sets of springs, but there is another set of 8 green springs under the set of green shown in the photo which means there are 6 sets total which = to 48 springs. If your getting 3 sets of 24 springs for $23 at your LHS, then your only paying for half of what the complete set is supposed to be......and 4 of my spring sets are new in sealed packages. So before you go shooting off your :2cents: ......you need to get your research right or you will be the one getting ripped off by your LHS. :stupid:

:wtf: Well, you're obviously not  enough to comprehend what I was telling you so I will cease with this:
I don't care what it cost in the first place, everyone knows you can expect to receive half when selling it in a forum like this (just as any buyer would expect to pay half). I told you right off that I was not attempting to start any argument, but you obviously took offense to my comments. I am truly sorry that I hurt your fragile feelings. ( :loser: ) Good luck selling your most cherished posessions ( :horsecrap ), I certainly wish you all the best since it is so obvious that so many are beating down your door to get it at such a great price.
Have a blessed day!!

Carls_Mammoth, take a look at the For Sale/Trade Forum Rules. Pay special attention to the part about Thread Crapping as this pertains to what you are doing.

Thanks Rob......but it's no big deal if one wants to crap on it. I would have figured it be done privately, but I guess not.
I thought my calculations for my sale was fair which even included the shipping cost in the selling price but I guess some may think different.
I will just keep them as spare shocks since bashing can be brutal at times.

Thread crapping aside, does this mean that you are no longer selling this item? If so, I will close the thread.

Carl, in the future either send the member a PM or keep your comments to yourself. No one enjoys it when someone comes into their thread and says a better deal can be found elsewhere. If you have an offer to make, make it. If you have some feedback for the member that includes knocking his choice of pricing, then try a PM. If the member asks if he has made a fair price, then by all means feel free to counsel...but do so in a civil manner. No need to use emoticons or smilies in the fashion that you did.

Thanks,
-SkyMaxx

I truly didn't mean to offend anyone. I guess I should have used a PM, but I wasn't trying to crap his listing. I thought he might have believed them to be worth more than they are and was trying to help out. As you can see by my low number of postings, I don't spend all day looking for faults in other people. I come on, do my business, and sometimes try to offer assistance if I feel I can. The deals I have made both as a buyer and seller have gone flawlessly. None the less, after last nights posts I began receiving threatening I'm's from someone, but I don't know who it was so I cannot place blame. Anyhow, I am sorry I caused such a mess, ( I really didn't mean to do so), and hopefully we can all get along. The only reason I entered his post was because I may was initially interested; and still might be if the price were right. If NJRC is willing to negotiate, I would like to hear what his bottom line is via PM shipped to Michigan.

The only change I made was to hi-lite the final sentence. The rest of this thread was cleaned up removing the exchange that generated this post. I have left this post for two reasons:
1. It is an apology that NJRC needs to see.
2. It includes an offer to negotiate a deal on the item in question.

Thanks to Carl for seeing things as they should be.

I forgot to mention that these are the MSR4 version 2 since Integy apparently came out with 2 versions of the MSR4 shocks.....3.0 and 3.5mm
I am currently selling the thicker version 2 with 3.5mm shafts.

OK........I am willing to negotiate since I have posted the sale elsewhere as well.

I will take $75 SHIPPED or trade for a complete set of good TMaxx shocks with spare matching length springs or 4 of the same length buggy shocks with spare matching length springs.......I need these type of length shocks for a project off road and savage shocks are just way too long for my racing style.
