I've got 4 blue integy piggyback shocks....I got these in a trade and have no need for them. Previous owner said they were never mounted and they do look like they were never used

$40 + shipping OBO

leave email and I'll drop you a line with pics

are these for tmaxx, savage? which ride?

Honestly I can't tell ya. Is there a way to tell them apart. I looked at integys site and couldnt tell a difference between the two from the pics there. Also After posting this I pulled them from my parts box and they do look like they were mounted but still in great shape. Couple of light scratches here and there from being in my box as well. I am sooooo sorry for misleading on these but it was dark the night I got them and posted from memory. My fault! Lesson learned.

I can get some pics tomorrow of them for you if you want but to be honest I'll take $25 shipped for these things. I have no need for them. They are 4 complete shocks.

hi, could you send me some pictures at [email protected]
thanks very interested. but i think there for a t maxx, i dont think integy makes blue MSR4s for savages.

I can get some pics Saturday and post em here. My camera is on the fritz and I'll have to borrow one to get em up. I had a guy look at the shocks and he said they were for TMAXX as well.

LMK guys.

I don't know if it is the pic,or what, but they look a little bent up? If that is the case, I'll have to do a little research on rebuild kits, but most just want to know if they will fit my Maxx./?

Its the pic the shafts are not bent. they will probably need an oil change because I can't tell ya whats in them but they are smooth and I see no evidence of any leakage. No slop in the lower ballends either.

The second one from the left does look like the shaft is bent and mybe the first from the left as well. Maybe a better pic will help you.

just by counting the turns in the spring it looks like they are for a buggy

one cannot reasonably determine what type of vehicle a spring is made for by counting coils. I have 3 different springs on my TMaxx, with as little as 7 coils and as much as 11.

I stand corrected, I was comparing them to Savage springs which have about 20 or more turns. I didnt realize that TMaxx's springs had as little as 7 turns. I guess i need to do some more research.

it's all good dude. Just didn't want you to have an incorrect impression of the difference in spring design. Generally speaking, a spring with less coils will be stiffer than a spring with more coils. Assuming the same type of spring of course. Other factors make a difference also. During my custom T-Maxx build I found 2 types of springs that seem to be almost identicle in spring rate but look drastically different

Trinity heavy springs (light blue, 12 coil) and Integy springs (green, 7 coil)

when put into the same type of shock with the same setup I can't tell the difference by feel. They feel almost exactly the same. The Trinity is made of a larger gauge wire than the Integy. Personally, I favor the Integy over the two just because it's more stable during compression and tends not to "bulge"
