I haven't logged on for about a year and a half (before last night), but I'm back because while searching for recyclable items during the city wide cleanup, I came across a house that was throwing away boxes and boxes of unused R/C bodies, and I'm hoping to sell some of them. The only problem is that they appear to have been stored outside, and the morning dew and airborne dirt/dust have gotten them dirty. They are all visibly unused. However, some may have stickers that are peeling off, or are even incorrectly applied (I've noticed a few that have headlights that are a bit slanted). There are probably minor surface scratches on most, also. The Lambo and Ultra bodies are all in pretty good condition and the "Supersonic Speed" bodies are excellent. The Supersonic Speed (World Express) bodies are for electrics. The Skyline and "Ultra" bodies for Nitro. I am unsure of what the Lambos are for. The Skylines may have some stickers that are losing their "stick" or are coming off, or are not applied correctly. I will do my best to gently clean everything that I ship. Also, I am completely unsure of which cars these are intended for, so, you'll most likely need to ream new holes. My only car is a Jato, and none of these holes match up. By the way, I just went to the hobby shop today, and they were selling these identical "Supersonic Speed" bodies for $24.99. Again, these ones are in excellent condition.

You can mix and match. 2 for $14, shipped, 3 for $20 shipped, or 4 for $25, shipped.

Now, for the photos (if they're too big, let me know, I can resize them):

PM and post if interested.

Also, this is less that half of what I have, so there are plenty more.

EDIT: The Calsonic bodies have all been sold!

Holy crap! Thats the most bodies I think I've ever seen in one place! Very cool! Good luck on the sale!

The "Supersonic Speed" body (world express on tail) is actually gold and back. It does look like silver in on of those photos, though. The other color is what it appears to be -- blue and silver.

PM incoming

4u2nv, thanks for the well wishes. Now, I sort of wish I took more bodies out for an even more impressive picture!

More info coming tomorrow night! A friend of mine has just told me that he's found out which bodies some of these will fit, without modification. I was driving home from the airport tonight when he called, and he said he'd just fill me in tomorrow. I don't think he thought I'd be able to remember all that he had to say, and I wasn't in a position to be writing anything down. Stay tuned!

I will take some of the bodies for the NTC3.. are any of these drop ons for it??

I will do 25 for 4 NTC3 bodies. I did see one with a hole cut for engine cooling.
I guess it depends on whether or not these are 200mm or 190mm.

Tac Racing, I don't even know what an NTC3 is! I bought a Jato in late 2005 and have only used it once in the past year (probably more!). I haven't been able to find much time play with it. A friend of mine, the one who influenced me to buy the Jato, however, have been getting deeper and deeper in the R/C toys. Anyway, my friend still hasn't called with the info regarding which cars these will fit without modification. It is likely that holes will need to be reamed to fit your car. When I find out which cars these fit without needing mods, I'll post the info.

(time go--work!)

i want 3 or 4, find out if any will fit a rs4 3 evo.

i will decide which i want after you get the info.

are any of them not punched for body holes?

i got dibs on a skyline, blue and silver "world express", blue and silver "ultra" and a blue and sliver "lambo".

Beason,
No, they're all pre-punched and cut. If you can give an accurate measurement of the hole distances, from left to right, and from front to back, I can see if your measurements are the same as any of these cars. They're actually all different, though, so the four that you've mentioned that you've got dibs on will all have a different hole setup. The Skyline is the only gas body, so I'm guessing you've got both gas and electric?

Sweetdiesel, yours have shipped. Being that you're so close, I'd guess you'll have 'em by Friday. Let me (and others) know what you think. Thanks!

there 2 3/4" wide and 13" front to back

and as far as nitro and electric, i can cut holes in the windshield, problem solved :D!

lmk if any are that hole pattern and then ill let you know what i want.

do you have any styles that arent pictured?

Thanks. I'll see if the holes line up with my TC3 and post results.

I don't think any match those hole distances. How are you measuring the holes--from the outside edges, the inside edges, or the centers? The closest one to those measurement is the Ultra body. Measuring from the outsides of the holes, I get 2 3/4" wide and 13 5/8" front to back. I think, however, that the proper way to measure them would be from the centers of the holes. This particular body has the longest distance between the front and back holes.

I don't really have any styles that aren't pictured, except for a few odd balls. 1 of them has a SmartTech sticker on it, so, I'm guessing most people wouldn't want that, although the body does look pretty cool- something like one of those Porche racing super cars...slightly speed racer-ish. The other two that I see that are different are just a plain black (no stickers) and one plain white (no stickers). Both of these appear to have had their spoilers broken off.

I talked briefly with my buddy with the info, but was driving and didn't get a chance to write any of it down. He said he'd had back to back 12 hour days and was pretty beat, so I want to call him back. He saw the bodies in some old R/C magazines and says they're considered to be premium bodies because they are made of really light/thin plastic. I don't know how true that is, but he thinks I should be making $10 each, after shipping. I don't know about that, though. I really want to unload them, as I've got four giant boxes in my parents garage, and eventually, I'll have to start hearing them tell me to "do something with those cars--they're taking up too much space!" He says they're for gas cars, which seems odd, since there aren't any pre-cut holes for the motor head, and stuff (except on the Skyline bodies). I guess it makes sense, though, since the Ultra bodies are for gas cars, as seen here: http://www.exceedrc.com/51c22.html I'm not sure what else they'll fit right off the bat. He also told me that some of the bodies, perhaps the Lambos, fit a.....MTG2? I know he said MT-Something-2, I think. (ok, I can't remember!). He also said some other ones fit a....Ntec4? Darn it, I just don't remember, but I think he said it was a Traxxas body, like a T-Maxx or something. Pretty, strange, though, to think that a Lambo body was designed for a Monster Truck. Hopefully, tomorrow, I can his info posted correctly.

I'm measureing center of post to center of post.

as far as gas or electric you can cut your own holes for air and the mill. just like you do for the body post holes. a brand new body has no holes in it at all.

can you get a better shot of one of the ultra bodys?

and send me your paypal

Sure, I can get a better shot, tonight. Did you click on the ExceedRC.com link in my post a few posts up? It links to the website selling the Ultra car, and they've got a several very good shots of the Ultra body. Are there any views in particular that you want to see?

Paypal address is on the way...

I'm gonna have to go with two, just got a deal on a new radio and need the cash.

1 blue and sliver world express, and 1 skyline (blue)

money on the way!!

Phew...what a long, work filled day. Lots of moving furniture and throwing stuff away. Then, about an hour an a half of table tennis (I belong to a club). After that, my boss took us out to eat at a Korean Buffet BBQ (mmmm...mmmmm!) and I got totally stuffed! I came home and packed a couple of boxes of cars to ship, so, Fastflee and Beason, your cars will be in the mail tomorrow. Let me know what you guys think, and also, if they'll fit any of your cars right off the bat. I'd guess you guys will have them by Monday or Tuesday, but who knows, I've had stuff make it to Chicago over night--and that was via First Class mail--so they might even get there on Saturday. (good chance with Fastflee's, since he's in my own state.)

Bodies came today. Great job on the packing. The Calsonic body is close to perfect fit for the TC3. The body posts are flexible enough to squeeze the body on without drilling extra holes. The Superspeed body will need to have new holes drilled but no big deal. The bodies are also pretty thick, they should hold up to quite a few races. For $7 a body I can't complain. Thanks for the deal and quick shipping.

Sweet I'm gladd you posted these pictures I have four comming for my tc3 was going to use them as bashers or for practice but those look great, this guy is also a good seller keeps ontop of things great to have people like this +++++++++++1111111111111111111111:celebrate: :celebrate: :celebrate:

Are your TC3s gas or electric? It's good to know the Calsonic bodies will fit them easily, thanks.

Also, I talked to my friend today, and he says the Skyline bodies fit a Hot Bodies "Lightning Street 4wd RTR." It hasn't been confirmed in person, by either of us, but that's what he's telling me. I think he's found the bodies in some magazines or something. The Supersonic Speed bodies, he tells me, fit a Traxxas 4Tec electric and a Kyosho U-One RRR. I tried looking up the Kyosho, but I only see V-One RRRs for sale online. I'm guessing that the U-One model is, either an older one, or that my buddy mistook the "V" for a "U."

Fastflee, I was thinking about what I should send as the last body, and I ended up sending you a nice yellow Calsonic, so that should work out perfectly for your TC3! I'm sure you'll be happy with it. I was surprised how well the yellow body cleaned up. Maybe, it wasn't as dirty as I thought!
