Frozen piston 2x

Well I have just received 2 Nitro RC cars with frozen pistons and want to know what the easy way of unfreezing them is. I have worked on full size cars and lots of other mechanical stuff so I should be able to do this myself but want a little wisdom before jumping in.

Edit: I should have said I think they have frozen pistons not that they do. The engine wont turn over on both and they ran great the last time they where used. Also I have Ready Start boxes for both.

i just unfroze the piston on my tmaxx, what i did was remove the glow plug and squirted some gas into it, let it sit and then after 5 or 10 min i moved it, then i put more in it, put the ez start on it, and ran it/added gas to it until it was moving freely

I'm sure some others can give you different methods, I'm working on tuning mine right now (bought and unfroze it 2 days ago) I'm in school so its a slow process

Not GAS, FUEL. Nitro FUEL.

i had that issue before, i used wd40 or degreaser, dunno if either of those are recomended though.

I got it fixed! Going to the hobby shop for a new plug for both tomorrow morning.

I used some degunker for outboard engines denatured alcohol 20% Nitro and a starter box. If anyone wants more info let me know.
