If you dont mind me asking this very newbish question.

I have a stock SAVAGE 25. I have taken the 4 main screws out at the top and the 2 out of the bumper. It is snagging on these two hook type things in the front.

How do i get it off?

P.S. Checked my scamatic could not find anything

Nobody in here has ever taken a skid plate off?

Take what "other two out" screws or what ?

(front or back plate???)

the 2 that look like there just holding the metal plate underneath take them out

if u dont want to do it this way the other way is just to pull hard

trust

trust me, it wont snap. thats what i thought. just do it!!!!!

gunit

ok do u know the 2 screws I'm talking about yet and r u trying the front or back?

The blue aluminum piece on the front skidplate(looks to be what the bulkhead is attached to) has two hooks on the end. The plastic skidplate is latche on to it. How do i get it off?

????????????????
