RC Driving Style
On my Micro RS4 I just installed a front one way diff. I think it is installed correctly because when I spin the belt forward it make both wheels drive forward. It also freewheels both twheels forward also. My problem is when I hit the breaks it immediaty does the Rockford and for those youngin's it flips right around and starts driving backwards. I can't on power turns because it seems like it is only in 2wd because the rear end always wants to wash out and I have to fight it. The only time I can take a turn correctly when I coast through the whole turn and only power when I am all the way out or the corner. So what's up is it backwards? Is this how a front one way acts? I am at a loss and want to put the stock cheese diff back in because at least I can account for the torque steer.

Your car should roll forward only.
The front 1 way is for long sweeping tracks. It will help you turn sharper by accelerating to goose the rear around a corner. It will also allow you to accelerate through a sweeping turn.

You will have to learn a new driving style.

it's out of controll with the BB motor, I don't think I like it and I will buy a ball diff after I buy your TMaxx. If I have reverse enabled on my spy is that incorrect?

it also dosen't drive the front wheel forward when i hit the throttle and only let the front wheels touch the ground and hold the rear off. Shouldnt the front wheels try to drive forward? Not slip?

Well, I'm not sure if the one way on a micro is any different from a normal scale touring car... But if there is power applied to the drive train, then the front wheel shock lock up and drive with the whole drive train. But once you start braking the front wheel should free up and only the rear will brake. You might need to adjust your driving skills to the new set up, its harder to drive with a one way on. At least tou will get all the power to your wheels while turning...

My one way diff was backwards.....................Even tough I called Team Orion because there was no instructions and I never had a one-way before. Well my GH Ball diff is in the mail so at leat I will have one for big and small tracks alike. I retract my hatred for the one-way it all boiled down to user error. They way I found out it was backwards was I tried driving in reverse for awile and I could actually throttle in the turns without flipping immediately in reverse. I am a :loser:
