when i was tuning my car over the weekend i was running it and the front drive shaft popped out on the transmission side. i put it back in and it doesn't set all the way back in the sleeve like the rear one does. i couldn't find anyway to adjust it so i thought id ask here. anyone have any input.

i can but not till after 7. on the transmission side where it goes into the two slots, the shaft is almost at the end and when its turned one of the prongs on the shaft almost comes out.

haha here's a picture, you can see what I'm talking about.

I haven't a clue save to say I would think your drive cup in your front diff is broken at the shaft inside or in the tranny. Or everything from the transmission back moved. Wierd.

i agree i can't figure it out, everything is nice and tight nothing appears broken. the truck drives without the front shaft in as well. i didn't do this long but just wanted to see.

You might be missing a spring in one of the drive cups. My RC18t has little springs that push on the dogbones. Without them the shafts fall out.

or you could have a set of 4909 shafts in a 4908 model? i have been looking for shafts for my 4908 and i can't find any long enough they are all for 4909 models.
