I have the older rs4 with the belts and i took the diffs apart and there was nothing in them. What should i put in them for racing. The track is small(if that matters).
Do you mean to try to firm it up? In the new RS4, they put a spring on the small shaft that goes between the spider gears in the diff. It puts tension on the gears and slows the diff action on the front...
it they are gear diffs, a setup of 25,000 in the front and 1,000 in the rear works well for general applications. i am currently running 25,000 in front and 80 in the rear on my trinity.
if u lost the seal, just use some RVT gasket sealent. You will have to do your own search on towerhobbies for the diff oil. I only recommend buying from you LHS
a certain brand of diff oil? i like mugen or ofna brand, but they are all about the same. Do NOT get the one way diff mentioned in the previous post, this is not for you, it is to be used only by expert racers on large, fast tracks.
