Well the stock front bulkhead busted today so what's a good one to upgrade to :D

I broke my stock bulkhead on the curb back in the spring. I am still running stock parts but went to metal skid plates. Since then, my son ran it into the curb head on at about 1/4 throttle and the only damage was it bent the skid plate straight up in the front. I straightened it back out and there was no other damage.

Aluminum bulkheads and skid plates. Anything but INTEGY! RPM, GPM, or the ones listed above in ebay links and those will be your best bet..^^^

Thanks guys for the fast response and l

Order is already in thanks again

I've read several times in the forums that integy is not a good brand.

I've had the front bulkheads break several times on my 2.5, and now on my 3.3 I have a broken one. I was thinking of getting the integy ones since it came wit the integy skids.

Whats the deal with those? is it the fit? the quality of the aluminium, or whats wrong with those?

Integy is just cheap ass aluminum and not well made products at all. Would probably break as easy as your stockers. The only thing integy makes that may come close to a decent replacement is springs and some of there tools.

I had a bulck head on my nitro rustler break just driving it on smooth black top. It was the first time I drove it after I put the integy bulk head on it. They are junk.....

Their upper and lower ( front and rear) control arms are the worst. They don't fit correctly, bind axles, pivot ball back out due to the crappy set screws. I learned why they use plastic on most RC's, when it breaks it usually doesn't break everything it's bolted to like aluminum suspension parts do. I wish I was on this site back then!

So RPM it is then. Its made of very durable palstic.

Thanks guys.

Rpm is made of a good grade of nylon actually. Thats why their parts are so durable. I've hit concrete drains and trees and everything else full speed with my revo and snapped both the toe rod and suspension rods into and pulled the pivot ball out of one side and the only damage to my rpm a-arms is a nice scratch upon impact! I have the same arms on now that have hit all these things and they still flex and perform like new.

Rpm does not make a bulkhead for the tmaxx but they do make a bulkhead brace that will work with the stockers

Guess thats the reason I couldnt find them lol, too bad they dont make them. I'll take a look at those braces.

I do have RPM arms on one of my maxx (and just ordered a set for my ten-t), and they look way tougher than the stockers.

Yea the rpm arms are the best bang for your buck. If you want to upgrade your bulkheads look into a quality set of aluminum ones. ACNM are decent also GH makes a good set for $60 for front and rear, I haven't had any issues with them

I wish this acncm would ship to the UK. They do seem very well priced.

Oh well!!!
