From your experience what engine do you think is the best drop in for the Savage 25?I am thinking of buying and engine like a Picco or somthing but I am nto sure wich one is best.What I plan to do witht he truck is just backyard stuff and fun no raceing.I do want to do some wheelies and mayeb some high speed runs every now and then.

I had a savage with a .247 in it and thought it was great, then put a picco .26 in it and liked that engine alot. It is a great engine for bashing and will provide you with lots of power, also the mach .26 is thought to be a very good choice also. I would get the one you find the cheapest, sh just came out with a .28 that is rated quite high in HP and the guys are liking that engine alot (sh makes alot of engines including the xtm and some fantom engines)

If you're looking to save a few bucks go for the XTM 24.7, and if you want crap loads of power I think the upcoming wasp .28 would be a good choice.
