Freeks OG Bruiser Restore

Some may have already seen these pictures, i picked this Original Tamiya Bruiser mountaineer, gonna try and find someone to put a Box art paint job on it and put it on the shelf to look at.It needs a new set of windows, i have the skids and the bumpers, the front bumper is broken so ill probably replace them both with white bumpers and dye them black. here are the first pics i took of it. I will Add pictures of the progress as i go, It will most likely be a slow process.

I did do a little work to the bed tonight, sanded on the old paint to get it ready for its repairs. This isnt a Factory body so I'm gonna make some changes to some of it, and fill some of the holes for lights that i dont really care for.

Cool you got a bruiser. I've played with one in person, hella cool for how old they are. RPP should have windows for it.

I have wanted one of these since i was 14, glad i finally got one to mess with, i wanna run it so bad but i am fighting off the temptation.........

i found a deal on some windows, all the lenses the grill and bumpers on Fleabay.

Looking good buddy. On a side note, I don't know what was up with Tamiya tires back in the day. My TLT came with similar tires, did they think everyone with a 4WD truck put tractor tires on their rig?

Not Sure, but they are hard as a rock, with no foams.

Will the RC4WD TF2 body parts fit the Bruiser?

It was a thought because they have all kinds of stuff for the TF2 including scale metal emblems for the fenders and the vinyl Toyota tailgate markings and the light and cab "glass".
