I signed up several months ago and love it.
There are a lot of hidden features like a 2nd phone number or more if you choose. It will send you an e-mail when you get a voice mail that you can listen to on the computer if you choose. You can arrange for it to Find You at several other phone numbers if you choose before it goes to VM.

Quality is the same if not better then standard phone service if you have DSL or cable.

Is there any special needs to have this? I mean I know you have to qualify, but do you have to have a Cable modem or would DSL work?

Andy,

The only needs you need it a broadband internet connection. DSL or Cable will work just fine.

I will say this to anyone that has it or is thinking about getting it. I'd HIGHLY recommend getting a battery backup system. A small $40-50 unit will do just fine so to power your cable/dsl modem, your sunrocket adapter, and the phone in case of power outage. While you might have a cell phone it doesn't hurt to have a backup plan.
