I remember reading here about a free replacement pull start for the HPI 21 motor. Can anyone help me out with the details? And thanks to Sky Max for the help on the glo plugs

You are welcome.

HERE is what you are looking for. Read the lead post in the thread.

Sky, thats for the Hyper 8, I think he's talking about the 21bb. I talked to HPI when my pull start broke, and they said that they were not replacing them at that time. That was about 3 months ago, so they might be replacing them now. Check out HERE for phone #'s and info on returns.

Sorry, the link didnt work. Just go to www.hpi.com and click on contact info.:trout:

Whoops! You are correct. My bust.

Yes, it is kind of scarey that I pass on the wisdom of some smelly fingered knucklehead. BUT that is the way the RC world and this forum works.

I was referring to your comment on irony. I thought it was targeted at me. Guess I missed my read.

LMAO!!! MAN, two F ups in a row!!! Oh well, thaks for getting that cleared up Chris. It was a little early in the morning for me.

After carefully re-reading this thread, I have stumbled upon the "irony" that my esteemed colleague, Çh®i§tiªñ, was referring to.

And for the rest of the world watching I shall now lay it out. First we shall call the target "POT" and I shall be the "KETTLE". The irony comes from the POT pointing out an error in the KETTLE's post; when said POT had not one but two errors in his own post. The first error was the claim that his first link was a bad link. This is not the case, his first link actually functions and points to HPI's homepage. The second error compounds the first in that his "correct" link actually is incorrect and leads to a Photography company.

Çh®i§tiªñ is a deep thinker and I love the fact that he caught that. So....POT stop calling the KETTLE black!

:D
