Northeast drone racing association was at our last race event. Was supposed to be on the outdoor track but mother nature said NEWP and inside we went. Didn't stop the drone guys though. They busted out the little whoops and went to town. Here's some fpv footage one of the guys posted.

@Sledgehog I would have thought some of those hits from the car guys would have broken the drones.

You should see the hits those things take! The way they are designed is pretty neat, even the little whoops. As soon as it impacts hard it just bricks and drops so you don't break your rotors/motors, etc. I guess. Unless you're super high up they are so light it just bounces and lays there. Then the pilot just re-arms it and away they go again.

On a side note, I'm not a big motorsport guy, but I've never in life heard of "skid racing" before this and it's freakin' awesome!!!!
