Hello I was curious what the benefit if any was to adding a foward only conversion to the T-Maxx I've seen them on ebay and was curious about this please could some one give me a little lesson on this

All I can say is just do it. For the longest time I did not want to give up my reverse, once I did it I could not believe I waited so long. No more jerking on take of, instant throttle response, greatly reduces rotational mass in the tranny, also removes quite a bit of weight from the truck by the time you remove all the parts from the tranny and the extra servo. IMO The best low dough mod you can do.

All the above is true.
Your overall performance will increase due to less weight and moving parts as well as a huge increase in reaction time from throttle to wheels.

Don't think twice, just do it. Its one of the cheapest mods with the highest performance increases.

I can confirm what both NCNitro and FastEddy have both said. Don't think about it any longer, just do it! There are no cons as far as I'm concerned. The only times you need reverse are if you've run into a tree (which you really shouldn't have done in the first place) or to 'show-off' what your nitro truck can do in my opinion.

The biggest benefit for me is how smooth the take-off is, just makes the truck seem more 'polished'.
