ya know when you pay a low price for something, then you understand the idea "you get what you pay for". well not so with this radio shack tool. its a mini soldering iron. its about 5 inchs long, with a soldering tip and a blowtorch tip. its a small one but should do heat shrink tubeing fine. it runs useing butane lighter fuel. equivalent to a 30-70w electric iron, flame temp rang 572-1022 f. r/s number 64-2188. the main thing is it works very very good, the temp adjuster works very good, this has been a weak spot on others. very easy to hold and move around, now you dont have a coard in your way, with the soldering tip on it stays running UPSIDEDOWN, if theres enough butane in it. with the soldering tip on when you first tight it the flame is on outside but wait on it, the flame will soon pop to the inside,
it has a cap that has a lighter on it. down side: only that you have to buy fuel for it, and r/s does not sell it, ill bet w/mart does. price? $21.99
