Forward/Reverse Transmission??

I see there are 2 ways the FWD/REV transmission are controled. Kyosho seems to be doing it with only 2 servo's and 2 channel radio's while Traxxas seems to be using 3 servo's....does anyone have any experience with which one is better? i would think the 2 channel shift would mean more wear and tear on the transmission?

The tmaxx uses the extra servo, so does the savage, mgt and alot of others. I'm not sure how the kyosho one works but it can't be reliable because of only 2 servos! Dont get reverse...slows your drivetrain parts down and adds extra weight to moving parts(gears).
