Hey guys I have an older T-maxx 2.5 and am currently looking for a robinson racing primary gear set. I keep blowing out what seems to me to be the forward primary 22t plastic gear (rides against the metal idler gear) but everywhere i look says its the reverse primary? I completely lose forward capability. I am running a Ofna Force 32 big block kit with RPM a-arms and blue groove anti sway bars.:(

i found a complete set of robinson racing gears for 75 bucks at rcsuperstore.com you might wanna check them out...

Those currently listed in rcsuperstore.com will not work. They are for a t.maxx 3.3/ revo 3.3. I would have to switch to an optidrive transmission for it to work correctly

You might have your diffs in upside down.. because if they are upside down then your reverse gear is used for forward and vise versa... I had that prob... pulled diff.s out and put them in right way and problem was gone.....

I will give that a try. Thanks a ton guys. By the way i found Aluminum primarys from ghhobby.com. Although they are aluminum and eventually throw aluminum oxide into the tranny they are better than factory plastics.
