Forward only rbr 2.5 trans

got new robinson racing forward only kit in mail, installed and read instructions four times , but truck will not roll back, is this normal?:\

no it's not normal, but i don't know much about the innerds of a tranny due to i have pros who are willing to work on my truck if it is major. but i do know that is not normal

Will it roll forward? If not one of the diffs maybe upside down. Lift all wheels off the ground and spin one and note the direction the remaining 3 wheels spin. If front spins opposite the rears then a diff is upside down.

i had a differential upside down in my savage, it would make the cracking noise, i felt dumb when i figured out what it was though

yeah me too when I did it. Got the rig all cleaned and ready to go, and then it wouldn't. A 1 truck, truck pull contest LOL

I keep seeing this about the rears being put in upside down. So I was very careful when I installed my new bulkheads on my T-maxx. Then I saw that there are holes for the posts on the rears to go into. Is it possible to put the rear in backwards on a T-maxx??

ya front diff. is upside down. but pulled front drive line out and rear rolls forward but does not roll back,i will tear trans back out and recheck. thanks guys. [one day i'll get this truck right] lol....

Nah, even if you get it working properly, it still won't be "right". Thats the curse of this hobby.
