is it somthing i could do in an hour or so?i have the 2.5 maxx and was wandering if a 3.3 tranny w/fo would bolt in ?

yeah, I would estimate it would take under an hour if you're familiar with the truck.

To add to the previous question, wouls a 3.3 trans fit in a 15? Been trying to get an answer for weeks. I want to drop in a .26max, but am told the tranny would not fair well.

i found out the 3.3 tranny will fit you just have to use a different spur gear.thanx all
