Hi

I've got a GV Rex-x 1/8 buggy (Ofna Force .21R engine) which up until recently has been running great. Now, it starts every time, but, when accelerate it just bogs down and dies....everytime, starts 1st pull, idles perfectly...then, when open about quarter, it just dies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've tried new fuel, new glow plugs (OS #8), stripped carb and checked jets for blockages...and can't find anything wrong.
Has anybody got any ideas ????????
If I can't get this sorted, I think ill need to buy a new frikkin engine..

Regards
steven

It sounds like it could be too rich...try leaning a little. Also if you hold it up in the air and give it gas does it stall because it might just need to get warmed up.

yea man check the carb setting before you do all that other happy horse poop, turn the low end buy 1/8 of 1/4 of turns until problem solved. start rich

I ran into a similar problem a few days ago, where it was running great, then started to bog after 1/2 throttle. When I checked, the pressure line had come off the pipe. My pipe doesn't have a threaded nipple, just a hole, and the vibration had cut the tube.
I didn't know that yet, so I just replaced the tube. It started, idled, and ran but bogged down at WOT. I took the pipe off, blew air through the stinger, and a 1/4" piece of tubing blew out the other end.
Now I snip the end at an angle so I'll know if it just came out, or got cut.
