FOC foreward only conversion. i'm not sure if it does or not, I'm only farmiliar with the terminology.

An FOC installation should not prevent your truck from pulling the front end. I would have to say it's probably either a tuning issue or you've got a bigger problem on your hands, but most of the problem it comes down to the tuning.

If any thing I would think that FOC would make it easier to wheelie because you are reducing the rotating mass inside of the tranny and eliminating the foward/ reverse clutch, at least it's that way on my t maxx...

Id hate to jump to conclusions but did you happen to install the center diff with the FOC. This would stop any wheelies you may have been geting. Just a FOC would not do this, at lest it didnt in my revos, it just makes the truck lighter and nimbler.

I have some questions about the FOC's.

1) Is one better suited/more durable for the Revo than the rest or is any brand ok to use?

2) What benefits are there for a basher if any?

3) I like the thought of having rear brakes as well but that's not included in the FOC kit right? (The nose dive is pretty bad)

4) How difficult is the FOC and rear brake installation? I can say goodbye to the Opti-drive box once the FOC is installed?

Once again thanks for everyone's opinions in advance.

there all pretty much the same i run the traxxas 1

stornger tranny and a more responsive truck and you get more run time due to less battery drain from the opti drive

no the rear brake is not included and you can adjust your normal brakes to take out some of the nose dive but the rear brake is more designed for the center diff

foc conversion took about 15min and yes the whole opti-crap module and sensor are removed

hope this helps just sharing the info i get from the same sources,
nathan

If you don't care about having reverse, put in the FOC kit or center diff. Sounds like you after handling so I would lean to the center diff.
I have only ran the FOC with close ratio gears and been happy. I stripped first gear yesterday, so I figured while I'm in the tranny it is getting a diff too.
That's 2 stripped trannies in 4 gallons, not too happy with the odds so far.

allows the front and rear wheels to act like a limited slip in a 1:1 rig same as the diffs in between the tires
