Sure thing.. I just installed my FOC yesterday and it was very easy to do.. Alot of the parts that come out you dont need to re-install back into the tranny..

I've never tore into tranny before so i dont know what to expect.bear with me and with your help we can get it done if i need to ill post pics with my Qs.

We're all here to help the new members out, so just let us know what questions you might have. There's not a nother forum out there where you can openly ask questions about anything when you need help and not have a bunch of dicks make snide remarks. The members here are the reason that I was able to become educated in RC's like I did, and they're the reason that I enjoy the hobby so much. They helped me out A LOT, and now I spend my spare time on here trying to give back to the site and hel other people. Welcome, and good luck with the tranny.

Also, take pics along the way. When you run into a problem, all you have to do is post the pictures and members will be able to help diagnose the problem instantly without a bunch of trial and error back and fourth. There are a lot of veterans on here than can help, as long as you listen carefully and do exactly what they ask.

When looking at the tranny, identify the side that has the slipper clutch/spur gear on it. When you open up the case, you will keep all (if I remember correctly) the gears on that side of the case. Everything, but bearings, will be removed from the other side. It's amazing how many parts get removed, it really simplifies the working parts of the tranny.

I've started tearing down so i can get to the tranny-rear end-front end all is left is the half shafts comig from tranny braces need to come off next and i should have tranny completely out.looks like the brake assy. might take awhile to figure out.so does this sound like the way i should be going?the mail man didnt bring the foc today so I'm kinda prepping.

Yes, have the tranny all the way out of the truck when doing this.. You can remove the set screw that locks the linkage in place and then just remove the tranny while keeping the linkage on the truck..
