FMS - 1/18 Toyota FJ Cruiser... upgrades?

I saw these are currently on sale at Amazon for $81.99 so I decided I needed something to crawl with in the house.
Any good upgrades to unlock it's full potential, or ward off known potential weaknesses? I'm always into tinkering and trying to make something better. Man, wish this stuff was available when I was a kid! Better late than never I guess!!

It's an ok trail truck, not a very good crawler at all. This was made before the FCX24/ FCX18 platform was released. I've been thinking about seeing if it's possible to swap the body to an fcx18 undercarriage or just swapping the Fcx axles and stuff to the bottom of it.
