Just I just put together my Hyper 9 2.0. I bought the picco boost .21 engine which came with a brass collet installed. The hyper 9 kit came with the flywheel and another brass collet which appeared to be identical to the one already installed on the engine.

when I installed the flywheel on the engine using the engine's own collet, the flywheel seems to be sitting too far forward. It became more apparent when I installed the clutch bell and fixed the engine to the chassis.

at the moment, the blutchbell and spur gear mesh nicely, with the spur sits at the very edge of the rear of the clutch bell gear.

is there any cause for concern?

I don't see a problem. It's not rubbing the the bell, and you're over 90% of tooth engagement. I'd just run it,my STS engine in my Savage is about the same as that one.

sweet, that's what I wanted to hear.

my first buggy shell. i want to paint another one it was so fun.

Painting shells is like eating potato chips, you can't do just one. Keep up the good work.
