ok guys i got a hyper 7 with a hot bodies .26.. i also got the ofna start box that comes with the hyper.. here is the problem. the flywheel wont touch the start wheel.. can i change it to a bigger flywheel?? does it have to be a hot bodies?? can it be any flywheel?? its a purple one if that matters.. vbgagnon can prolly tell you exacly which flywheel it is..

or am i just a nOoBiE and not doing it right?? i i got the front pins lined up to hold it and the weight of the bugg presses the rear plate down to enguage the wheel.. but it isnt touching the flywheel.. i think i got it all lined up right..

If you have clearance under your engine case you might need to get the lower engine mounts...if that's the same engine setup VB had on it I'd ask him before buying something new though.....Don't get the bigger FW unless you have to....just more rotating mass to rob Horsepower.......

Is it the flywheel that was on the engine or the other one I sent with it? I never tried it on the starter box I sent you, because I just used a plane starter with a wheel. How far off is it?

its all the same as you sent.. have tred the other flywheel.. its not off by much but i can set the car on there and turn the flywheel without and problems so its not touching

THis is the one you want to lower your engine stance.

u can also taje your dremel and a grinding nit and "open" the chassis abit till the FW hits the starter wheel...personally, i've never done this, but have heard of many people doing it

if you go bigger flywheel go with the same clutchbell
dont mix and match the two
on my hyper 7 i am running an X1 clutch set up on it
flywheel is smaller than the hyper7 purple one
luckily my starter box can touch it but the black RTR box couldnt
you can enlarge the opening a bit with a dremel, go with the lower motor mounts also
