hey guys, i've had my flux for two weeks...maybe. and The day before yesterday I ran it on 6s. 2 zippy flightmax 5000 MaH lipo's from hobby king. I noticed that the slipper was loose little because it wasn't hooking up very well. so i tightened the slipper. Yesterday, I ran it again on 6s. The same thing happened. only this time when i checked the locknut on the slipper and it was almost all the way out, and the plastic piece inside the locknut was stickin out of it. (I'm assuming that the excessive heat caused it to melt. so i tightened it again and it ran ok for a few seconds and then it sounded like the motor was free spinning. But the gear mesh was fine. I loctited everything. anyways, so i waited for it to cool down and took the spur gear off and check the slipper pad. It was not even there. Completely gone! Now i think that i had it too tight. That's the only thing I can think of. But still, this is only the 2nd time I've ran it on 6s. Has anyone else had this problem. Oh and I probably have ran the flux a total of 7 times, including the 2 6s runs. other runs were with 2 2s smc lipos. i just don't want to keep replacing slipper pads every other time i run it on 6s. what are your guys's suggestions? thanks

that's already in my plans sir. thanks though. I didn't think that i would need loctite on a damn lock nut...all my years of nitro savages and i've never had this happen. i guess thats brushless for ya. well thanks metalhead. how's that mini slash goin for ya?

Lovin' that little thing man. It's a smooth operator.:) About your nizut coming loose, maybe a new one and locktite is in order. Nylock nuts wear out eventually. With the bl power and the good batteries your running, your putting down some serious torque.

yea i got some new lock nuts and 6 slipper pads coming. should be here this week. take care buddy. thanks
