Alright I've scraped together some funds for some new batteries and maybe a couple of upgrades for my savage flux. First thing I want to do is lengthen and widen it so I've decided to go with the XL axles and extended tvp's, I'm not sure on which tvp's to go with the flm or tsc. What's everybody's opinion on either? I've heard good things about both.

Both really good choices man, it really comes down to preference. Out of the two listed I'd say TCS.

IRC and Alza also make top notch Flux tvp's, extended and standard length. Check'em out.

I thought irc only made Tmaxx parts? I've heard good things about alza, I'm going to check both of them out now. I'm leaning towards the flm only cause of the middle chassis guard they have that only seems to fit the extended flm tvp's.

LOL nah, they actually don't make any parts for the T Maxx...

Yea that FLM skid is pretty nice.

IRC makes lots of Savage parts, Flux and nitro.

With the flux would I need to purchase a motor or esc mount/plate regardless of what brand I go with? Basically would any of these brands require more to buy other than the tvp's and the longer dog bone?

Well the TCS is only tvp's I bellieve so dont have to buy anything else from them.

U can use the stock motor plate if u wanted too but FLM and Alza offer replacements. Also the ESC plate if for if u dont want to run the stock radio box.

As for dogbones, Alza has some, FLM also has there own beefy rear dogbone, both are XL spec and IRC has there own extended length rear bone. The tvp's that are exact XL lenght can use a XL dogbone, don't have to buy there but I would...

If ur looking to keep the stock esc/motor plate and factory rear dogbone, I would just get the TCS one. Less option means more money in ur pocket! LOL
