Ok, forget the linkage question, how do I flip the carb? How does it come apart?

The little nut at the base of the carb is what holds it in. Just lossen it and slide out the carb its a pinch type fit. Why do you want to flip the carb what is it supposed to help?

It gives you easier access to the LSN, and allows you to put a throttle return spring on the carb so it doesn't end up costing when your truck goes out of control.

yes, there is a bolt on the motor housing that pinches the carb to hold it on. when you flip it over, dont forget reseal it. BTW i love this set up for slide carbs, it really helps with tuning the darn LSN and keeps the throttle linkage away from the fast moving spur gear (it has gotten cought in there on my truck before)

good luck. this is a very good mod.

When I was little I got a bunch of glow in the dark tubing but I never used it. I found a use for it though. I put some on my throttle linkage to protect it from the Spur Gear, and used it to protect my antennae too. It works well.

I reversed the carb the day I got the new engine. When you secure it, make sure you press hard on the neck to compress the O-ring as you tighten the nut.
