Drill a small hole at the end of the crack, this will prevent the crack from traveling any further. Then get some shoo goo as Christian mentioned, but dont get it at the hobby shop, get it from wal mart in the shoe section, it's much cheaper that way. Then if you have a small scrap piece of lexan shoo goo it to the inside of the body. It's surprising how well it holds up.
 
Or you can get some plastic epoxy at a true value store and just use it instead of the shoo goo it is two part and comes in a dual syringe like thingy that has the plungers hooked together so you can easily get equal amounts.. oh bad fumes so well ventilated area:thumbup:
 
I've see staples used before on touring cars but it probably won;t hold up as well offroad :rolleyes:
