Fishing

The internet at my wife's work was out for the day so we decided to go fishing.....We had a great day! I see a fish fry in the near future.

Chicot State Park, they have a nice lake only 10 minutes from my house.

Man is there no limit? What fish are those?

Most of them are bluegill brim, the larger one in the top pic is a chiquapin perch, I think the limit is 75 per person.

Just remember that a bad day fishing is better than a great day at work.

That looks like alot of fun! It has been a long time since I have had a haul like that!

I pulled 13 yellow perch and one pickerel out of the St. Claire river up here on the Ontario/Michigan border. None were big so the all want back in, I plan on hitting the river in town this weekend.

Its some good eatin but alot of work cause they r so small. We'll usually catch a boatload of em and do something similar to a clam boat only with a mix of perch, sunfish and bass battered and fried. Good schtuff!!!!!
