Fishing/Duck boat project

Picked up this 1965 Alumacraft last summer and am just finding the time to work on it now. Plans for it consist of a front and rear deck and a fresh coat of paint. Outboard thats going on it is a 1965 Johnson 9.5 Seahorse.

More Pics to come as the work goes on.

Spent a few hours scrubbing it down.

I hope that the plywood you're using is marine grade. It would really suck to be on the platform shooting duck and all of a sudden find yourself knee deep in rotten wood splinters.

^ It is. That would ruin a trip real quick.

The only electrics allowed will be a trolling motor and fish finder. haha

Very cool project man. We had an old Sea Horse series motor, and it was tough as nails.

This engine runs like brand new. Idles perfectly and everything.
