Picked up this 1965 Alumacraft last summer and am just finding the time to work on it now. Plans for it consist of a front and rear deck and a fresh coat of paint. Outboard thats going on it is a 1965 Johnson 9.5 Seahorse.

Should be a cool project, congrats!
 
I hope that the plywood you're using is marine grade. It would really suck to be on the platform shooting duck and all of a sudden find yourself knee deep in rotten wood splinters.
 
^ It is. That would ruin a trip real quick.

The only electrics allowed will be a trolling motor and fish finder. haha
 
This engine runs like brand new. Idles perfectly and everything.
