Took the Revo to leisure hours raceway friday night for some open practice and I had great time! Only thing i did for the track was to lower the suspension down and set it nice and soft. Since i had such a good time i am going to put a little more money into the truck to get it around the track a little better. I am thinking a good set of times would be the best bang for the buck for a very novice racer. Any suggestions? I was thinking about going with the Revo Platinum spec wheels/tires.

I would switch to some maximizer 17mm hexes and truggy wheels/tires. You'll have a ton of choices....I run proline crime fighter 3.7" lpr's on dish wheels with a 1/2" offset. They're narrower and will get you around the track better and probably cheaper than the trx response tires.

HPI dirt bonz tires hook up GREAT off road. especially the track. i would shy away from the road with them though cuz they won't hold up too long...
