well, my recently purchased terra crusher, new fuel lines, glow plug,&fuel-started right up nice and loud! unfortunately i think the transmission is messed up. i dont think it ever saw 1st gear! even in reverse. i could never hear it shift and when it took off i had to ease into her til she got up to speed. I'm gonna take it apart and see whats up. anyone have input or experience on the terra crusher???

ahh nothing! come on someones gotta no somthin about this? its ok, i'm gonna tear it apart and fix it, and then i'll share new knowledge. haha

i would say take the tranny out and make sure all is good in there... not sure if that truck has adjustable shift points or not. if it does maybe they are set wrong. other then that I'm not sure... also it says your in phoenix. pm me if you want to go bashing sometime... maybe i could take a look at your truck also to see whats up.

thanks nathan 454 , i wasn't sure if anyone had been through these transmissions before, when i get some time to tear it apart i'm sure i'll figure it out. where do you usually run your truck at? track or lot?

That FRAT tranny is a PITA (pain in the ass). No hobby shop guys in my area would even look at the one I brought in for my buddy.

It does have adjustable shift points, you'll find it on top of the tranny, or should at least.

Hmmm...interesting!!!
What about transmission out of TNX truck, is it upraded from the TERRA CRUSHER, I no it has no reverse, but is a better unit? I think it bolts right up?

Is your engine tuned?
You wont here shift if your engine is too rich. The rpms the engines puting out are not high enough.
